The Home School Association (HSA) is the parent-teacher association at Our Lady of Fatima. The HSA is the organization that provides a forum between the OLF parent community and school administration. The HSA takes the lead on: • fostering the highest standards of education, school facilities and services for our students • driving the fundraising efforts required by the Diocese to generate a portion of the school operating budget
HSA Meetings and Your Participation
The HSA holds General Membership meetings once each month during the school year. Remember, attendance and participation in the HSA meetings is your chance to have a voice in the OLF community! The HSA needs every member’s support to be successful! Please contact any board member with questions or if you would like to provide a topic for the monthly meeting agenda. Please check school emails for meeting location and time confirmation details.
NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED TO CHAIR A FUNDRAISER OR SOCIAL EVENT. And you don’t run the event alone; every event chair will have a team of parents to assist in the effort. Chairing is a great way to meet people in the community. To volunteer, please contact Jim Smith OR Clara Taveras Davis.
The HSA is required to raise 10% of the school operating budget. This budget allocation is called the Stipend. The 2011-2012 Stipend is $110,000.
